Just a quick one before dashing off to work on the shortest day of the year…
Stayed up way too late last night to watch the beginning of the Lunar Eclipse last night. I even took a few pictures! When I get home from work this afternoon, I’ll go through them and see if any are worth posting up. There’s just something about standing out in the snow in your Sorel boots, pyjamas, and a really big coat to remind you how utterly “Canadian” it all seems. It was actually kind of cool to notice, as I was drifting off to sleep, that the ambient light in the room kept getting darker.
Also, the Black Hole socks of Doom are off the needles! Just need to weave in some ends and try blocking them. I have no idea whether Berocco Comfort Sock (acrylic) will even block. Guess this could be an adventure. I’ve also almost finished the pair of experimental fleegle heeled Kroy socks that I’ve been working on. They should be done by this afternoon, and will likely leave me wondering just what the heck to tackle next…
Happy Solstice, folks!
